There is some old beliefs in Latvia concerning married couples and locking a padlock to a bridge over flowing water.

Riga, RIX

No niin, homma ohi. Viimeinen kännykkä blogaus tältä reissulta. Muutama kuva oli jäänyt kommarin tallelokeroon, joten tässä tulee...

Hotelli Justus, jossa muutama yö vietettiin. Laatuhotelli, mutta ilmeisen selkeesti rahavaikeuksissa aamiaisen ja vessapaperin niukkuudesta päätellen.

Toisessa kuvassa, tai mihin järjestykseen nää nyt tulikaan, Riikan lentokentältä näkymää ökykauppojen kohdalta.

Kenttien ero on huima verrattuna vaikka Tampere-Pirkkalan kakkos terminaaliin, josta matkatavarahihnan loppupään kuva.
Keksintö on sinänsä jännä, että kun hihna täyttyy se myös pysähtyy niin pitkäksi aikaa, että joku tajuaa alkaa sitä tyhjentämään.

No, mutta nyt ollaan kotona. Seuraavaksi ehkä muutama parempi kuva jos jaksan laittaa.

Riika, tuo baltian pariisi

Vai oliko se praha. No molemmiksi sitä jotkut kutsuvat.
Jokatapauksessa täällä on tallusteltu niin, että jalat on jo ihmeissään.

Halpalentoyhtiö meidät tänne roudas lähes naurettavan halvalla hinnalla.

Kuva on näkymä hotellin ikkunasta.
Hotelli on hyvä, mutta niiden aamiainen vielä naurettavampi kuin mainittu lentoyhtiön hinta. Lähes minimaalinen, leivätkin on peukalonpään kokoisia ja ihan oikeasti.

Kohta taas kaupungille, ettei men hukkaan tämäkään reissu.

Täällä muuten on suurimmat kauppahallit mitä misään olen nähnyt. Lihaosastokin tais olla perin jalkapallokentän kokoinen. Nää ilmeisesti todella tykkäävät lihasta, mikä on tietenkin positiivista kansakunnan yleiselle profiilille.

Aika monet kaupat näyttää menneen konkurssiin, joten talouden taantuma puree täälläkin ja ilmeisesti kovemmin kuin monessa muussa paikassa.
