Sorbus aucuparia

Apples??
No, these are young berries of Rowan.
Dictionary gives me also translation from Finnish as "serviceberry"
Still, I'm not sure if it is correct one.
Rowan, anyway is correct for the tree and I think Rowan Berry is correct for berries.
Right or wrong, who cares?

Latin name for that is Sorbus aucuparia
And yes, they do wine named Sorbus from these berries in Finland.
How horrible is that? Should you taste it, completely up to you.

I love rowan berries, especially when thewy're ripe and orange (or red, or yellow or pink, wonderful variety). i wouldn't want to try the wine though....
