Midnight sun Skywatching

It's Skywatch Friday again. And what a coinsidense it is also midnight sun, or Juhannus in Finnish, here in Finland.
I was supposed to go out at midnight to take some photos of bright sky, but as usual, it didn't go quite as planned. :-(This photo I took during evening just to make sure I have atleast one decent sky shot ;-)
Well, as you might guess lookin at those clouds and all grayiness (is that even a word) on that photo it started to rain. And rain isn't stopped yet while I'm writing this. Saturday morning at 11:45 it is. Too bad.

Well below is how it was supposed to look at midnight. That photo is from last summer. Not exactly at the same time, but still bright light all night long.

More, lots of moer, skies here

Remarkable to imagine how there is always a slither of light even at midnight. Beautiful deep blues.

Happy Juhannus

Oh this os so beautiful so see the light at midnight. I am excited that here the sun sets as late as 9:10 and is still a bit light at 9:30.

It's wonderful to share so much from all four corners.
