Monocrome Monday 30th March

One morning I was walking by nearby river and saw this great formation of ice and some mysterious foam frozen on the surface of water.

Nearly odd, but then again pretty normal at this time of year here in Finland.

I thought it was leaves floating at first. Very fine - we have had some great shots already today.

It looked like an embroidered piece of cloth to me at first. Beautiful!

Without these informations I wouldn't have guessed what it was. Really odd and great subject for Monochrome.

Wow. Maybe we don't need to know what it is, exactly! Whatever it is, it has made a great photo!
